OB OVERVIEW
Micro1 is seeking experienced Full-Stack Software Engineers to support an AI training project focused on software development, technical problem-solving, debugging, system architecture, code evaluation, and language migration.
The role requires strong hands-on experience across both front-end and back-end development. You will work on complex engineering tasks, review AI-generated code, and assess software solutions for correctness, performance, security, and maintainability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop, modify, test, and debug front-end and back-end applications.
• Build user-facing features, APIs, services, and supporting data models.
• Trace requests and data across browsers, applications, APIs, databases, services, and external integrations.
• Work within unfamiliar repositories and understand existing software architectures.
• Diagnose issues involving application state, API contracts, authentication, databases, networking, and deployment.
• Evaluate and improve code across multiple programming languages.
• Review AI-generated solutions for correctness, completeness, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Translate complete software builds from one programming language to another where required.
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong production experience developing full-stack applications.
• Hands-on experience with both front-end and back-end engineering.
• Professional experience with multiple programming languages.
• Strong understanding of browser applications, APIs, application state, databases, and service integrations.
• Experience contributing to complete software system architecture.
• Ability to understand and work effectively within unfamiliar codebases.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and technical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
COMPENSATION
$50 to $100 per hour.
Compensation is output-based. Payment is based on completed tasks that meet project specifications. Task completion time varies based on experience and workflow.
Minimum weekly submission requirements apply.
